JobPicky (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates jobpicky.com and the JobPicky web application at beta.jobpicky.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Who we are
JobPicky is an AI-assisted job-matching service for job seekers. We help you build a professional profile, score live job listings for fit, and surface recommendations with explanations — not mass auto-apply or recruiter spam.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (e.g. Google sign-in).
- Profile data: CV uploads, chat messages, voice transcripts, and structured “memories” extracted to power matching.
- Usage data: match runs, job interactions (save, feedback), credits balance, and basic technical logs (IP, browser, timestamps).
- Payment data: when you purchase credits, payment is processed by our payment partner (e.g. Cashfree). We receive transaction status and order references — not your full card or UPI credentials.
3. How we use your data
- To create and maintain your account and profile.
- To run AI matching: retrieve jobs, score fit, and show recommendations.
- To improve matching quality based on your feedback.
- To process credit purchases and prevent fraud.
- To respond to support requests and comply with law.
4. AI processing
Your profile text and job descriptions may be sent to third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI) to generate match scores. We use these services under their terms and only for matching-related purposes.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Authentication providers (e.g. Google).
- Payment processors (e.g. Cashfree) when you purchase credits.
- AI providers (e.g. OpenAI) for job matching.
- Authorities when required by law.
6. Retention
We keep your account and profile data while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us. Some logs may be retained for security, billing, or legal compliance.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and industry-standard practices to protect data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your rights

9. Children
JobPicky is not intended for users under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
